The Yakima Pride Festival & Parade is back on June 8th, 2024!; taking place right after the Yakima Pride Parade (June 8, 2024 10:00 AM). The annual Yakima Pride Festival is a celebration of LGBTQ+ life, culture and community in the Yakima Valley and Central Washington.

Ready to dive into the heart of the action? Whether you're itching to steal the spotlight, tantalize taste buds, or spread some love through volunteering, there's a place for you at the 2024 Yakima Pride Festival & Parade!

ENTERTAINMENT 🎶

The Yakima Pride Festival & Parade offers a variety of entertainment options for attendees. DJs, drag artists-performers, musicians, bands, singer-songwriters, dance-choreographers, comedians, guest speakers, and more are welcome to apply to perform at the festival. Performers are encouraged to showcase their talents and celebrate LGBTQ+ culture.

EXHIBITORS 🎨

The Yakima Pride Festival & Parade invites exhibitors from GSAs, Local Nonprofits 501(c)(3) or Community Groups, and Small Business (Arts & Crafts, For Profit), National Nonprofits 501(c), Government, and Politicians are encouraged to showcase their commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equality in their displays.

FOOD VENDORS 🍔

The festival also welcomes food vendors who are encouraged to educate, teach their culture through food, and align with the festival's values of inclusivity and diversity while adhering to all food safety regulations and obtaining necessary permits. Through your unique and delicious offerings, your participation in the festival helps create a more diverse, love-filled, and affirming environment for our community.

VOLUNTEERS 🙌

The Yakima Pride Festival & Parade is made possible by our volunteers' hard work and dedication. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring that the festival runs smoothly and that attendees have an enjoyable experience. Volunteers can assist with various tasks, including set-up, tear-down, ticketing, and information booths. Volunteers must be committed to promoting inclusivity and diversity and adhere to the festival's code of conduct.

March to the Beat of Inclusion 🌈

Be a part of the heartbeat of our community - the Pride Parade! Whether you strut with style, roll with flair, or ride in celebration, the stage is set for you. Join us in lifting the monumental Pride Flag high as we transform Yakima Ave into a vibrant rainbow pathway!

PARADE CONTINGENT 🏳️‍🌈

The Yakima Pride Parade welcomes walking contingents, motor vehicle contingents (vehicles under 25 feet without a trailer), and float contingents (vehicles over 25 feet or vehicles with a trailer). All contingents must align with the festival's values of diversity and inclusivity and must contribute to the overall well-being of the LGBTQ+ community. Participants are encouraged to showcase their creativity and celebrate LGBTQ+ culture in their presentations. All participants must adhere to the parade rules and regulations.

No large bags/backpacks, all bags will be inspected prior to entry.

No coolers or outside alcohol (clear, sealed plastic water bottles are allowed).
