2021 Yakima Pride Festival & Parade

A community event proudly produced by Yakima Pride and its annual partners!

We need community and connection more than ever and allowing us to both connect and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s resilience in the face of this pandemic and the true spirit of Pride.

In 2019, we had a record 1,200 people came out to enjoy the festivities at the Yakima Pride Festival & Parade.

In 2020, the coronavirus pandemic prompted the cancellation or postponement of hundreds of Pride celebrations.

In 2021, the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19 mean that most Pride celebrations will not take place during June as planned or canceled altogether.

We are determined to celebrate PRIDE together; safely and considering every Yakima Health District and Healthy Washington - Roadmap to Recovery recommended precautions.

Whether you are a returning guest or coming for the first time, it is a magical experience like no other! Please join us on Saturday, September 18th; invite your friends, family, and everyone to proudly celebrate PRIDE and share this beautiful event in our community.

Volunteering with Yakima Pride

From the very start, volunteers have played a vital role in the success of Yakima Pride each year. Volunteering is an opportunity to meet new people, share new experiences, and to give back to your community. Plus, it’s just plain fun! There’s nothing like walking through the Pride Parade as a volunteer, working behind the scenes at the Festival, or helping one of our first-time attendees. With many different volunteer departments, there is something for everyone, and we need your skills to help execute our city’s largest LGBTQ+ Pride event.

All year long we are engaged in planning events, conferences and gatherings for our community. It really takes a team effort to produce all of our Yakima Pride events. From the Rainbow Prom to Pride Day At The Fair to monthly LGBTQ+ Coffee Socials we are busy year ’round creating inclusive and safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.

We are always excited by all the artists that want to be a part of Central Washington’s largest celebration of Pride. We seek artists that are either members or allies of the LGBTQ+ community. We are looking for acts with fun festival energy and true show stopping power!
